Terms and Conditions

  1. Please take extra care when arriving and leaving the park. There may be livestock in the farm as you walk through and you must ensure your dog is securely on a lead and you remain in control.
  2. I will try my hardest to provide a service for all to use and enjoy, however, mistakes may occasionally occur. Please allow me to sort any problems out before posting negative comments on social media.
  3. The booking is for the client only.
  4. All poo MUST be picked up. Failure to do so will result in refusal to use the field again.
  5. Please put all litter in the bin provided and keep the field and shelter as you would wish to find them. Poo bin is for poo only.
  6. Food and drink are permitted, but please ensure nothing is left on your departure, as this could cause illness/injury to other dogs.
  7. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
  8. Fresh water and bowls are always available (even a paddling pool in the warmer months), but please remember these are doggy use only. It is not for drinking or for children to play in!
  9. Please do not climb on the fences or gates.
  10. Do not let your dog dig on the premises. Please let me know if this happens.
  11. Pet and human first aid kits are kept within the shelter. Please inform me if you use anything from these. I am also Pro-Training Pet First Aid certified and will assist as and when necessary (if I am on site).
  12. The fence is 6ft high but will not suit dogs who can jump higher than this. You use the fields at your risk.
  13. Whilst the field is fairly flat, it might be slightly uneven in areas, and customers should take care underfoot. The field is used at your own risk. Please wear appropriate footwear for weather conditions.
  14. The fence and grounds are checked regularly. Please let me know if you find any problems.
  15. You are welcome to bring your own toys/agility items, but please ensure that these are packed away before the end of your session.
  16. Please do not leave your dog unattended at any time.
  17. There is a 10-minute gap between customers. Please leave the park at the end of your session and arrive only 5 minutes before your session starts.
  18. We reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time (i.e. unsafe weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, or other emergencies). Payment refunds will be issued immediately, but costs incurred (i.e. travel expenses) will not be reimbursed.
  19. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask customers to leave the premises if activities are deemed to be unreasonable and/or you are not following our instructions and terms and conditions.
  20. If you are late, you must still adhere to their allotted departure time.
  21. Payments must be made in advance via our online booking system.
  22. Appointments can be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance.
  23. Unfortunately, there are no refunds for any cancellations you make.
  24. If you leave the field before your allotted time ends, you will still be charged for the full time, and you can’t ‘bank’ time.
  25. If you do not turn up for your slot, you will still be required to pay.
  26. Children are welcome, but please ensure they stay with you in the field and are always well-behaved.  Please ensure they do not play in the ball pit, paddling pool or on the agility equipment. These are for dog use only.  Please be aware whilst every effort is taken to ensure there is no dog poo on the field, it could sometimes be missed. Please ensure children are in the car before the arrival of the next customer and stay close to you, walking to and from the fields.
  27. Use of agility equipment and any equipment is entirely at your own risk. Please let me know if you break the equipment so this can be fixed ASAP.
  28. No more than six dogs at once (unless previously agreed with us).
  29. If your dog is or has been ill (sickness, diarrhoea etc) within the past 48 hours – please reschedule your appointment. Do not attend your appointment if your dog has (or you suspect your dog has) kennel cough.
  30. Please let me know if your dog is poorly whilst using the field or shows signs once you return home.
  31. Only meet with others in the field if you know your dog is friendly. It is your responsibility to keep an eye on your dog’s behaviour at all times.
  32. ALL dogs MUST be fully up to date with their vaccinations prior to visiting The Rural Dog Park.
  33. Professional hirers (dog walkers, trainers, etc) must use their own insurance when using the field.
  34. Disclaimer – keeping with the law regarding responsible dog ownership, you are completely responsible for your and your dog’s safety and welfare whilst at The Rural Dog Park and surrounding private property. You should be in control of your dog at all times. We cannot accept liability for loss, damage, injury or death.
